No kidding.

Allow the goal, and play on.

Such a stupid call.

While I usually don't have an opportunity to watch soccer (football) here, I did have the privilege of actually going to a game while I was in Spain, it Real Madrid vs... hell, I forget who the other team was, but it was an awesome experience.

It also just so happened that we left for Spain on, I s[Azure][/Azure]hit you not, the day of the bombings in Madrid. Scary stuff, there.

EDIT: Past tense is going to be > me

I read 4 articles on the game and still couldn't figure out where ******* was from. Wikipedia finally solved it.

The only team in Britain and possibly Europe that are not named after the place they come from.

Keeper had two choices to make, send off the keeper, or play the advantage and allow the goal.

I stand by him fully, just cos he made a decision that Andy gray and everyone else disagrees with, doesn't make it a bad one.

Although booking Thierry Henry for that awesome tackle was a bit harsh. I think he was evenly unfair for both teams.

LOL at the linesman who got pictured in a Barca shirt. What an idiot.

Soccer- bah.
Bloody Americans... it's football. You hit the ball with your foot! I never understood why American football was called that- where perhaps 2% of the entire game consists of the ball touching feet at all. Shoulda been called American Rugby, IMO. Smiley: grin

Um, we actually tackle people in American football, not hug em and fall down with em. People die in American football, even with pads and helmets.

Oh, and rugby players should wear some sort of protective gear that covers their faces. Please. Wouldn't really have to be that protective, just, um, well covered. Opaque even. I would think a nice brown bag with eye slits would do.

Ok, ok, Gavin Henson is the exception that proves the rule.

I gotta think Sabo is going to be "busy" for a few minutes before he responds to that image. Hell... nevermind...

Yeah, it's equally fair to send of one teams keeper and the book THE SAME teams best player...
