The French always suck in every historical type game that I've ever played.

Well, you can't blame the developers for historical accuracy...

My only suggestion is to make sure your computer is up to the task of Oblivion.

QFT!

I could fill pages with the foul words spoken in my house after finding out that the game I waited 3 years to play, purchased, and installed, wouldn't even run on my pc.

I sent it over to my bro-in law. His system met the minimum requirements, but still the game was nearly unplayable.

If you don't have the recommended specs or an xbox 360, pass on Oblivion.

Huh. My two-year-old machine runs it just fine. It does have lots of DDR RAM, though.

I used to play marathon games of Civ2 with my old roommate; that ws a great game. Heard Civ3 sucked - or at least its soundtrack did, and Civ2's soundtrack was great - Civ4 sounds like it's worthwhile.

If I hadn't spent all day trying to learn how to draw Celtic knots, I would be up to seeing if I can figure out how to play Civ4 online. Knowing my luck, I would finally get game working online and then fall asleep while waiting for game to start.
