Wow, that was a more enthusiastic initiation than your average maximum security shower! If I wasn't married, I'd have your kids. If I was a girl, of course.

Does this mean my epexctation of buying a big compound in Utah and expecting you all to live there with me "Big Love" style is unrealistic?

Big Love is my new favorite show. I'm not sure what that says about me.

I really only watch it for Cloe Sevigney.

Thus, to get my first toon to 50 was a wonderful feat. However, when I announced it in guild chat, I didn't get a single response. Over twenty-five people were on, and not one 'Grats'. Not two minutes later, someone linked a couple of epic items, and got ooohs and aaahs from several members, and a whole conversation started up over it. I asked if anyone could read what I was typing, and one person responded. I was so frustrated by the lack of responses (and had noticed it for some time- frequently anyone who wasn't part of the raid crew seemed to be ignored lately), I ended up quitting the guild.

There's been a general drama in the forums lately where Bleach, who was evidently mad at Wilow and Chakrila for posting negative comments about his glowrious HNMLS, decided to go on a witch hunt to destroy what reputations they did have.

It reminds me of the McCarthy era, where Senator McCarthy rounded up the rich and the famous, and wildly accused people of being Communists.

Final thought: People should not be judged by their job level. IMHO, it's the same as people that judge IRL by what socialeconomic position you hold in life, or what the colour of your skin is, or what your religious denomination is. It's stupid, pointless and bigoted. I hate bigots with a passion.

It's a great show. Too bad there are only two episodes left before season finale.

That's my only gripe with HBO series, the seasons are too short.

Speaking of which, anyone know when Rome starts again? I could look it up, but I'm lazy.

Has there only been 1 season of Rome so far? I meant to watch it but I totally missed it. If there are DVDs I might try to get caught up and ready for season 2.

I think Deadwood is up next, which is my favorite. Can't wait for that. I'm not sure when Rome is coming back.

Big Love is like a chick show or something. I'm giving it a full chance but I'm having trouble getting into it.

So is Charmed, but that doesn't stop me from stopping for a little bit while channel surfing to stare at Rose McGowan's bosom. Smiley: rolleyes Plot lines aren't everything.

I thought they cut Mind Of The Married Man loose way too soon. Deadwood lost me in the second season. Entourage lost me after the first episode. They have a hole to fill. Here's hoping the next new one doesn't suck ***.

I like Deadwood also. Weeds is pretty good althoough, it's a Showtime series instead of an HBO one.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The only show worth watching on HBO was cancelled in it's second season. Carnivale was teh win.

Edit: The cast reminded me of the asylum too. Smiley: inlove

Speaking of HBO did anyone watch Elizabeth? It was like a mini-series 2 or 3 episodes. I watched the first in bits and pieces but could never catch the second. I thought it was decent and the Earl of Essex was Hawt!

I watched most of Elizabeth I. Didn't catch the others, but liked the first part. I think this is the last week you can catch it on On Demand, so I might have to set aside a night or two.

You and Mike Binder are probably the only ones, though.

HBO's new show is a sitcom based on Louis CK. Who's really funny as a standup but doesn't seem to lend himself well to that, we'll see.

Apparently my letter pitching a Lewis Black superhero show didn't go over for some reason.
