Checked the forcast today. Looks like we have another 10 days of rain coming at us. Some places in Mass were reported to have recieved 12 inches of rain in the past two days alone. Warnings are going out that we havent seen anything yet. Rivers are expected to flood any time now. Husband IMed me and said one of his coworkers cars was flooded yesterday and that the schools on the north shore are actually closed down. And we still have ten more days to go at least.

I think I saw the sun for a moment this morning, but it could have been a hallucination. Im starting to forget what it looks like. It's been decided we're calling the realtor today and get the house on the market asap. I want a good deal before the house floats away.

While we don't have the amount of rain the eastern seaboard has received, we too have been rainy for the last 6 days, and have nothing but rain in the forecast for the next 8 or 9 days.

Kinda sucks, but we needed the precipitation.

There was a tornado touch down in Holly Springs yesterday, DSD. We saw some hail too. Other than that, I think we'll be back to heat again this week.

Well the sun came out just after my first connecting bus left Springfield, and here in the North Country it's frickin' beautiful.

Figures.

Tornados are Natures vaccuum. Trash moves into Trailor, Trailor attracts Tornados = No more Trash.

The weather has been really messed for the past few days here. We have had intermittent showers/thunderstorms that last like 30 mins then the sun comes out, since Friday. Today we are supposed to have a 96% chance of rain. Still not a cloud in the sky. I think the weatherman is just trying to keep us bikers off the road or something.

Dunno about that- a mini-tornado ripped through a small section of Bermuda last week, and we don't have trailer homes. We do, however, have some houseboats... coincidence?

Yes. Seasons were warmer 60ish years ago here in MI...then they got colder, now are on a warming trend again. It been cylcing like that for a long long time now.

Do I think that we've done some harm to the environment, sure...do I think that the warmer tempatures are completely attributed to this harm, no. Part, if not most of it, is due to the natrual ebb and flow of the seasons.

Our rain is even making major news!

Boston.com has some really vivid pictures for some of the flooding we're getting. Look for the flood gallery under the title "Officials: worst is yet to come".

If you gert flooded out and need to go to high ground and leave before it becomes the next Atlantis, you and your shortie can stay in my guesthouse. You're going to have to find somewhere else for your man though, as he could be a definate game killer. Smiley: sly

actually the shortie would be the game killer. Thanks for the offer, but I do live on a hill. I figure I just might actually get a better price for my house if the rain continues as promised. I just may be able to call my house lakefront property Smiley: grin
