Oh...yeah, here's something amusing that I had only shared with Danalog and his missus...

So, when my buddy and I left you guys and went down South I had to get some cash. We went to a bank and used the ATM, but had to hurry and catch one of the last trains (they stop running at midnight or something crazy) so I grabbed my cash and ran. The beeping sound I heard behind me was probably just the receipt being printed out, right? No - it was my card being returned. I'm so used to swipe machines instead of take-your-card machines I totally forgot to wait for it to come out. Luckily, my buddy informed me that the ATMs theft-protection usually eats the card back up if it's not taken within 60 seconds. I didn't realize this until we had gotten to the first bar and I was getting out my ID. Smiley: blush

And so I end my Asylum virginity...

1. Already Answered.
2. The poor sticky purple pug.
3. A LOT! Wow, I mean, these guys talk more than my friends do! But it was amazing to listen to all of their stories. I think I got caught up on all of the Asylum history without ever even reading it before.
4. I had only heard stories prior, but I think DSD's kid stories, which I read, were very in character with her personality. She tells excellent stories.
5. Biased - my Dana.
6. Nope.
7. Secret. I DO have several heros now though. Like Smash, who is a God for teaching me poker.
8. I like pie. MMMMmmmm and boy was that Boston Creme good!
9 is a good number.

Yes. Smash is actually a really really nice guy in person

Check's in the mail man.

I'm rally kind of disapointed no one went on at further legnth about just how shockingly charming I am in person.

I mean that 15 minutes I was sober, I must have said "nice rack!" to all the married chicks at least 30 times.

Smooth like cherry wine, baby.

It's really this intense modesty that I find so suprising!

The best part is that I now hear people posting in their actual voices instead of the ones I make up for them.

Everyone was really nice. I suppose, and especially on a forum like this, that most folks are expected to have their ******* moments (whether it's smartassness or just plain dumbassness) but they were at quite the minimum.

The first night our flight was delayed, so I was among the last to arrive. When I got there the crew had been informed that, because of a Sox game there would be no cabs and so a jaunt to the subway would be in order, should they want to be remotely close to making dinner. By the time we changed, walked the sodden five or so blocks to the station and made it to the Rock Bottom Brewery, most had finished appetizers and moved on to the main course. DSD is looking saucier than I remember, and I was hard pressed not to pinch her right in the bottom. Yanari is quite the looker, and Nexa can't just claim that she's photogenic-she really is that good-looking.

As for dinner, the conversation was light. The table was so long it was hard to communicate, but by the time we moved on to coffe right before the bar, we were familiar enough to play with Smash's lovely laddie-locks. I do have to say I would have probably been more up-to-date had I been a smoker, since it seemed when a smoke break was called, 60% of the room left and the conversation went with it. Smiley: laugh

That night, after coffee, we went dancing, and that was my favorite. Props to Kelvy, Jacobsdeception and Exodus for keeping DSD and I busy.

And you're ok with that? I'd be calling the hospital if I heard voices while reading.

Debalic do you know a place not too far away from Potsdam called Alex Bay? You probably don't live too far away from where I do actually.

Smash, was the nice rack thing while you were sober or after you got drunk?

Like I said, I may suck at dancing, but I at least try!

Props to Jacob for getting me a good buzz. Smiley: laugh

I'm just going to have to go on pretending you are all just figments of my imagination and are the voices that live in my computer.

Either that, or the green-eyed monster may overwhelm me. Smiley: glare

Actually I didn't go at all, and instead hired an actor to pretend to be me and a small crew of biotechnically egineered nano-monkies film the entire thing while I watched at home on a monitor.

I thought I had specifically asked my nano-money supplier for code to automatically edit out sweaty hot man love, but if you want to make a few omllets...you have to bake some eggs.

etc.
