My tongue's feeling better now; I can actually taste things again. I guess the Numb Tongue was my punishment for ditching the rest of the Asylumites to go carousing South Boston in the rain with my buddy, doing shots of Jack.
Yes, I am a ****** who should not be let out into public. When I showed up at the Rock Bottom, I ordered a Sam Adams (hey, I was in Boston, right?) I got a glare from the waiter and snickers from around the table. I guess that's a faux pas when at an actual brewery/restaurant. Their North Star Amber was good though. I also needed help figuring out the tip - I'm more of a Mr. Pink guy in this respect. Later on, when I was ordering the above mentioned shots of Jack, Kevin berated me saying "Jack is a sipping drink, not for shots!" but I have to be in a special mood to slam Jaeger, his first choice.
