Well, the nice thing about being in vancouver, WA is it is right across the river from Portland, OR, headquarters of Nike. So there seems to be a fairly steady supply of the larger sizes. I know when I was down in houston I had a hell of a time finding any shoes. Up here, it's not so bad. I tend to be pretty much limited to basketball style shoes, though if I'm lucky I can find some that aren't too odd looking. I do have a pair of dress shoes, but those I did have to get custom ordered. I hate custom ordering shoes though because you never know what you are going to get that way, and in the larger sizes some custom shoe places are wayyyyy the hell off in their sizeing. One time I got a pair that said they were 15's and they turned out to be 12's or something I had to go up to a 17 there to even fit the damn thing. Other times people think 15 = 17 and they add an extra two inches. I find that even name brands get odd in the larger sizes. Reboks tend to run about a size smaller than nike, so I take a 16 in rebok. Adidas tend to just randomly guess the size based on that poarticular shoe, so they are pretty hit and miss.
