She was one of my favorite guildmates. If I did something to upset her, she never brought it to my attention. She left the guild without even a goodbye, if I remember correctly. I just assumed she was just moving along with the mass exodus.

While I've already said I handled it badly, I definitely had reasons - maybe you didn't agree with the reasons, but the reasons were valid. Her constant ragging on the guild tabard, her disdain for not wanting to wear it - ok, that was her choice. It was not my first choice either - but I felt she was hurting the guild's morale - making those who were proud to wear the guild tabard feel like ****. The only thing that mattered to Yanari was Yanari. She was unapologetic to the end and said whatever she felt like. I had 3 or 4 discussions with her trying to work things out. After the 3rd discussion, I thought the issue was behind us. She wouldn't let it lie, and when she wouldn't meet me halfway, I said ***** it, she's not worth keeping in the guild with that abysmal attitude. Again, I should have done it in a different manner, or had someone to mediate the situation.
You know, for all the effort I put into the guild to make it a fun place (just the week before everyone was saying how great things were), the lack of appreciation for what was accomplished is mindnumbing.
