Hello, Asylum.
I've been avoiding posting here like the plague, honestly.
But I've come to terms that there's nothing so bad about it!
So I come with my first challenge to you all...
Name/Comment/Correct my poem...
------------------------
Being mislead,
A sheep for the sharks.
Coulda been dead,
Hanging in a park.
But now I see,
I've been so misguided.
I've rediscovered part of me,
Complete whats divided.
Don't take me down with you,
I sink too easily.
If you weren't so Impromptu,
A fascist perversion smiling at me.
I'd take you to the river,
So you'd not drown in the sand.
The weakness make you not quiver,
but the ground in which you stand.
Don't believe the lies,
But don't believe me either.
Don't ask why,
Or you'll be the miser.
I believe in the truth,
I didn't say it will be found.
Stop being so uncoothe,
So absurdly profound.
While your effort was applaudable,
It was only a game.
It was always from the beginning,
Don't be so lame.
P.S; I made the poem like an actual poet... As in 4 minutes creating it and 4 more doing brief editing. So it's definitely not perfect, but this "inspired" poem feels pretty powerful to me out of all the ones I've written so far.
If you'd like me to share some more, please ask. I've got one on "Elitists". :D
