Sadly, I have held off on posting in this thread because I am a Boston Bruins fan. We traded our two best players (Thorton and Samsonov) because our GM was an idiot. Our team was so horrible this year that I almost need to hide my head in shame.

For all you Oilers fans out there, I truly hope you are enjoying Samsonov. He was a wonder to watch with his puck handling skills.

True that. I got to watch him when he was part of the Detroit Vipers as a rookie in the IHL (which has been dead for about 5 years now unfortunately). He was/is an awesome skill player. The birth of the shoot-out in the nhl this year reminded me of Sergei's glory days with the Vipers.

I love my Pittsburgh Penguins! I'm not a big Crosby fan...in fact my favorite Pen this year was Josef Melichar. My all-time favorite hockey player is Robert Lang...and I wish The Penguins had their 1st and 2nd line-up from back in 1998-2000. They were Jagr, Lemueix, Kasparitis, Lang, Hedberg, Kovalev...and I also love Alexey Morosov...another one of my favorites.

Hey, we may not be the best...far from it...possible the worst team in the NHL...but it's all good fun for me to watch Sergei Gonchar beat down a little Saber and hear fans screaming "Yashim beats his wife" or "Hey DiPietro, remember the Olympics?"

My all-time favorite, "Hey, get off your knees...you're blowing the game!"

Let's Go Pens!!!

Ay

Watching some Oilers hockey Bhodi? Get used to it cause you're gonna be seeing a lot more of this next year.

Well, I guess I should comment on the loss. Sucks, but nobody ever expected them to get this far anyways. Everything's a bonus from the first round on.

Nope, more Oilers playoff hockey. No more CBC dramas for you!
