Yup it is our problem. AAA was in such a rush to find a way to garner even more of the market, that they failed to prepare for it when they began providing this kind of service Nobby(which started long before I became a field rep)
I will also verify that the whole RV membership is probably the biggest rip off I have seen in some time. It's a joke, but unfortunately, the past few times we have brought up discontinuing it we were told in no uncertain terms it is here to stay.
It's a big *** clusterf[black][/black]uck. The member wants to be able to have their RV towed. AAA wants their money for this membership(on average it is $50.00 more) And I am supposed to pay the garages a nominal amount for all the extra work required to tow an RV, despite the fact that these trucks they take out cost upwards of 200k. These calls are nightmares when they come in.
