...Wow.

Not surprising, i guess. Not to play up the whole 'elite asylum' thing, but the common response to something like that is to say, "Fine, I'll go make my own club! With blackjack! And hookers!"

If they want to do that, that's cool. But I used to be able to post in the OOT forum once in a while, and now its flooded with crap like-

Dear 'stupid other poster #1'
I hate my life
Dear 'stupid other poster #2'
Boobs
Dear 'stupid other poster #3'

Really damned juvenile, is what it is...

EDIT: Can we have a forum war? That'd really spice things up a bit.

neat, it's like the shortbus version of the sanctuary. Some sort of virtual black hole trying to compress all of the stupidity randomly floating around in the forums into one tiny singularity of inanity.

I see a lot of Awful posts there. Yes, indeed... Awful, Awful posts. I'm not directing that towards any one person, just the idea that maybe a lot of those posts are considered, by me, to be of an Awful quality.

As if I needed any more proof of the twatiness of some of those posters. I was somewhat surprised to see WarMaverick. Not because I don't also think he sucks, but because I didn't expect to recognize any of the names. Oh well. C'est la vie.

What's SOP now? I seem to remember much mocking and rate-downs, but I can't work up the enthusiasm. It's really a pretty sad little club.

That was my first thought too. If only all their posts could just be re-directed to forum=6969 (how clever...).

You don't find a couple broads posting about how hot they are and throwing themselves all over the couple sad guys in there to be a fascinating forum?

Throw in a bottle of gin and a pack of Virgina Slims and it's just like a neighbor's house I used to live by.

Exactly. We arn't invading your forum, we arn't spamming the OOT forum and everyones happy except those that somehow feel left out (who could quite as easily add some numbers together and find their own little forum)

See I dont think so, mainly because you are trying to get your own little CJ going. You couldnt do it with socks because they kept getting nuked so your kissing up to posters (until they figure you out and you turn on them) to rate you up. Bad juju.

I seem to remember the first day I thought I had befriended you, you referring to me as a lapdog. The OOT posters are some really nice folks, if you weren't so stubborn Katie you would take this freetime to get to know them. One of them is currently serving in Iraq right now - I'm sure she could use some support.

PS. You need a rating ability to circle jerk which the majority lack

So, what do you call it when you start making "these people need to be sages and these people need to be scholars, hint-hint" threads?
