So a few days ago I get hauled into my bosses office. At first I fear the worst, the system I work on and troubleshoot doesn't need 2 people to run it and they've finally pulled their heads out of their asses far enough to figure out that they can let someone go. Having the least seniority, I figure it's me. Turns out they are bringing someone back into our department and he's requested his old desk back.

So I find out where I'm moving, it's a nice work station, with a BIG blank wall behind me, PC screen completely concelled, and I can see anyone coming to my desk well before they get to me. Sometimes I think they want me to slack.

and no, the IT dept. here has been really good at blocking out any NWS websites. My personal favourites are the ones deemed as "Tasteless". No **** here.

My companies "IT" department is a router. I can view any and all things nothing is tracked/blocked, etc. I was moved several months ago to an area where people can see whats on my PC before they enter my office.

Smiley: motz I never view "tasteless" websites but rather not be known as "the guy that plays on the internet all day"

Guy I work with caught me on OGame and is convinced I play Video Games all day.

Congrats on your new found solitude.
