I'm considering packing my neato Nissan mug for my trip this weekend, but I'm not sure how many gas stations let you fill up your own mug with coffee. Any ones you recommend?

Mmmm... Gas station coffee...

most stations i have been to alow for you to use your own cup and charge a min. fee for "refil" charge. normally it is much less to buy a refil then to buy a new cup due to 99.8% of the cost of the drink being in the cup and not in the liquid it self.

Flea, if you pass by any Dunkin Donuts, stop there. I am a flavored coffee drinker and enjoy the hazlenut or French Vanilla. But regular will work in a pinch

I concur!

There's something about crappy convenience store/rest area coffee that I really enjoy. Maybe it's the association with long-distance highway trips, which I love.

Dunkin Doughnuts has really good french vanilla iced coffee. That is the only time I go the flavored coffee route. My favorite is a starbucks venti latte with an extra shot, 2 splenda, and some cinnamon. Mmmmmmm....

I am a coffee fanatic. It is a wonder my heart doesn't explode from the vast intake of caffeine.

Oh oh! And dunkin doughnuts will cream and sugar your coffee for you at the drive through. You sure can't beat that!

Dunkin Donuts

Goes without saying, but last time I checked, they don't have gas pumps. I'm just asking about gas stations with good coffee, if such a thing exists off the Jersey and Indiana turnpikes.

The best coffee I've ever had came from a vending machine in the lower level of the Booth library at Eastern Illinois University. Thirty cents got you a cup of pure ambrosia in a paper cup with a poker hand printed on it.

If I had my druthers, I'd have bought that machine and put it in my home.

Dunkin' Donuts coffee is ****. (.)
Starbucks makes right decent coffee, but they are an evil corporation and their establishments are mostly populated by fuc[/Aliceblue]kfaced yuppies and tree-hugging hippy cu[Aliceblue]nts. You can buy coffee there because it's good, but to even things out make sure you do it smugly. And give dirty looks to the other patrons.

Baker's Dozen, also good coffee. You won't find any of those unless you are driving through eastern CT.

I'm sure I've said this before, but the machine that we just had installed at work makes really good coffee. It's depressing to know that I can get the same quality from that little machine as I could when grinding at home, but at least it's convenient. They use Green Mountainâ„¢ brand and I must say it's rather tasty(except the Blueberry flavored one, it tastes like ***).

Where the fu[/Aliceblue]ck have you been you fuc[Aliceblue]king fuc[Aliceblue][/Aliceblue]ker? I was just thinking to myself "Hey, I haven't seen weebs 'round these parts lately" while reading that swearing thread and 'lo doth he post. If you haven't read it yet, I do believe that DSD dropped a challenge that can't be ignored. Chop-chop!

A mouthful of *** is what you deserve for drinking God damn blueberry flavored coffee.

Sh[Darkgoldenrod][/Darkgoldenrod]it man, what are you? Six? Maybe you should see if coffee can come in Rock-a-berry or Atomic Watermelon. Smiley: dubious

Not just blueberry, Mountain blueberry! It was new(read: shiny!) and I had never had blueberry flavored coffee so I had to try it, a mistake I'll not make again. Smiley: frown

Green Mountain does make good coffee, although Starbucks tastes like *** as far as I'm concerned. Bitter and watered down. When I drink my coffee, I don't want pansy-*** flavors. I want coffee that bites back. I want it to be brutal, like a cage match between my tongue and the coffee.

Is that one of those cage matches where it's no holds barred but then the coffee bans your tongue and your tongue cries that it wasn't fair and the coffee cheated?
