I've known people that for some odd reason, don't consider anyone who is working for them to be human. More specifically, the dude/dudette in the drive thru window doesn't exist outside of that drive thru window, doesn't have feelings, thoughts, opinions, or a soul, and was placed there JUST for your amusement.
Well, while that maybe true with drive thru window people (sorry, couldn't resist), where my real question/discussion will kick in is with the following:
Maids.
There are some people that don't think much of a maid/housekeeper. At all. If they typically walk around the house nude the maid does not count as an entity to induce shame. They will fart, scratch themselves openly, and even take a **** with the door wide open and not even recognize the made is there.
I've known couples that don't put up the do not disturb sign on their door at hotels when they are going to mingle, since the only person capable of opening that door would be a maid, which "doesn't count."
What's everyone else's view on this? I would love to hear how that is on the other end; as in, maids themselves and their passed experiences with those who are careless of their cleaners.
If you want to know what spun out this thread, it was two things. First, getting the Yanari thread down and making Nexa happy in hopes for a huggle in Boston and a free burger. Secondly, I've been playing the Sims this week and the fact that the maid comes in to clean the shower head while I'm taking a crap and not even complain about the aroma while my Sim seems to not notice her entry just baffles me.
