I have been playing Baldur's Gate recently, feeling nostalgic.

The chick in the purple often answers my orders with something along the lines of: "Why, you're a ***** little fellow".

I miss all of your cyborz.

Lunatics isn't totally dead. I left my naked druid in the guild and occasionally my son gets on her and runs her through WSG. I'm sure everyone on his side has come to know the weird, naked chick with the <Lunatics> name (which is fitting).

My son is only 4, heh.

Im still in Lunatics and when I get the time, have been recently popping on to play. Ive decided to try and get Mei up to 60 and see what is out there.

And Nad, that completely explains why the other day I saw you on and said hi, only to have you pop off immediatly after. =)

I thought about deguilding her, but like I said - there's something fitting about a naked character in a Lunatics guild that runs BGs =)

I've a week ago finished my move to Oregon and am expecting my belongings (including my gaming PC) to arrive today or tomorrow, with hope for today fading as the sun dives toward the horizon. Since I live on a farm now, I've decided to reactivate one of my numerous MMO accounts instead of making the twenty mile drive to the nearest bar every night. The only internal debate I've undertaken is which game shall it be? EQ, WoW, EQII?

After remembering here about how much fun last March was, and reading how many of you still have paid WoW accounts, the choice is now obvious:

EQ it is.

I have it on good authority that Lunatics still exists and that Almightybob is not happy with attendance.

Blizzard had to cancel some people's orders for The Burning Crusade Collector's Edition due to lack of supply to meet the mass demand. Of course, having 11 million players now, I can see how this might have happened. Of course, I'm going to stick with my paranoid theory that the slimy marketing bastards are just hoarding warehouses full of CE's, may they burn in hell. Smiley: motz I got this info from reading some other message boards of people bemoaning their Blizzard-imposed canceled orders.

I really hope at some point they will make more CE's available to WoW players.

I placed an order for my CE last week from DVDBoxOffice (Canaduh), no fuss, no muss. A couple of days ago, though, I get an email from them saying that there may be a delay and it is recommended to change my order to a regular copy. ***** that. I'll wait, dammit.

Besides, I'm already getting a regular edition that I pre-ordered from EB a while back. If DVDBoxOffice decides to cancel my CE order on me like Blizzard did to some folks, I'll be vexed. But not vexed enough to camp in front of a store waiting until midnight on the 15th to try to score a CE (if they're even available after preorders). I will simply add another notation in my Book of Grudges as I drink my Guinness...fervently looking forward to the release of Warhammer Online. Smiley: chug

I was baffled to see such a long thread titled "Yanari". Then I opened it. Ah, what fun we had.

I cancelled my WoW account a few months ago. With all the games coming out in '07 I'm just not sure where I'll end up.

Smoggy, shall we start a guild somewhere & just whip up some non-stop drama to keep things exciting?

Yes, as long as the guild tabard has anything to do with boozing. And this time, YOU get to be the sucke-, er, I mean leader! Smiley: grin

Seriously though, what do you think your game of choice is going to be? LOTRO? EQ2? Vanguard? WoW?

If it's LOTRO or WoW, count me in. I just canceled my Station Pass for EQ2/Vanguard. I think I'd rather play Vanguard when it gets in much better shape (i.e., hopefully next year).

I haven't been keeping up, anyone know when the release date for LOTRO is now?

Sometime in the spring for the LoTRO release. I haven't given up on Vanguard, but it's been a bit frustrating in its current state.

Pushed to the Spring? Bummer. On the other hand, plenty of time to enjoy WoW's Burning Crusade expansion then!

I can't see myself getting into WoW again. Too easy. It has it's points, but I've lost interest on the game too quickly not once but twice.

LOTRO I'm intrigued about. I've heard a few good things, haven't done much research though. I'm even curious about EQ2 now that it's been improved apon since it's inception.

They took away the suck.

Left a game that is casual friendly but still has more content than WoW could ever hope to have. Go download the trial. They have a new one for the new expansion.

If you like the game, for 39.99 retail you get EQ2 + all three expansions including Echoes of Faydwer which brings back Kelethin, Lfay, gfay, steamfont, Kaladim, Mistmoore castle and more. The game looks nicer, the combat is faster and there is just plain more game. Plus I will hook you up with some gold.
