Actually eat something for breakfast, like a bagel and a piece of fruit, or whatever. That will give you the energy to make it to lunchtime without resorting to caffeine.

And any time during the day that you feel like a cup of coffee, fill up a coffee mug with water and drink that instead.

Eating something for breakfast helps get your metabolism going too. One actually burns more calories during the day if one eats something for breakfsat.

I'm drinking coffee right now Smiley: grin

I started drinking green tea a little over a year ago. Kind of had to make myself like it. I still have to add honey to it too, to cut down on the "green" taste. But overall, I like it. And I've not been really sick since I started drinking it. I usually have 2 cups a day.

And I'm hoping that since we moved into a townhouse, I'll get more exercise on these stairs. Especially since our computers are upstairs, so I'll have to run up and down them a lot.

First year of university 4 of us put in for a 2 story, 3 bedroom, fully finished basement townhouse. Was very nifty except for having the bedrooms on the 2nd floor and the washing/drying machines in the basement. Pain in the ***.

That and we had a neighbour that had a hard on for weed eaters. He would sit outside in the backyard and rev his weed eater for 4 hours off an on. So one day we chatted it up with him asked him if he was meticulous with the yard or perhaps he did small motor repair etc. In the end we found out he was just crazy and really liked revving the engine on weed eaters. Fu'ckign annoying.

Huh. The picture of you under your name, bhodi, makes you look like a chubby, old, dead, black dude who would be inclined to shuffle around his house in slippers while making a ruckus at his hip and polyester clad son.

Skinny? I think not!

coffee is mostly water, how bad can it be?

but anyway maybe try drinking black tea. there's so many different teas available , one HAS to appease your tastes. Like Irish Breakfast Tea. Tastes similar to black coffee IMO...
Also, green teas are good.
i just finished off a box of genmacha with macha, green tea&popped rice. It was literally green, but it was made for drinking, not looking.
