Swiss Apple Pie
* 1 unbaked pie shell, 9-inch
* 1/3 cup granulated sugar
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 5 cups thinly sliced apples
* 2/3 cup cream
* 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix together the granulated and brown sugars, salt, and flour; add apples. Spoon apple mixture into unbaked pie shell. Pour cream over apples; sprinkle with the cinnamon. Bake at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes, or until apples are tender. If pastry edges get too brown, cover with foil to protect.
Probably my favorite recipe.
