So i ussualy explain (with big words so they go... "uhhh... shut the *bleep* up ya gay ***".) I find it works.
You're damn lucky that your "big words" don't require to spell said words, bc you ******* suck at spelling. Don't ever claim to outsmart people when you can't spell at an 8th grade level. Geez...
Why are "gay" and its variations used as derogatory terms? I'll tell you why.
Homosexuality is different. It's a far cry from the majority of the world's sexual standpoint and opinions. Strike One.
Males often believe that they are defined by their masculinity. Why do they feel this way? Daddy wasn't around, media influence, whatever. But that is the way we are. We are men; as such, we do manly things, chase women, and the like. So, anything that is totally contrary to that is very odd to us. Therefore, homosexuality becomes an insult, as it contradicts our very makeup. Strike Two.
On a personal note, most gay men that I have met act very feminine. I KNOW, NOT ALL DO. I KNOW, THAT IS A STEREOTYPE. But stereotypes exist for a reason: they are often true! Any man that acts like a woman is gross to most men, borderlining on offensive. Strike Three. (Yea, I know this is a personal opinion, so it doesn't really count as Strike Three. I don't care.)
You may flame me for this, and knowing this board, you probably will. However, I think that my words here are indicative of the view of most males in America.
