Never heard of them. Smiley: grin

As far as Tool goes, my favorite songs (in no particular order) are Eulogy, Jimmy, The Grudge, and hopefully a buttload of songs on their new album which is now finished recording and should be released sometime in May with luck.

I'm also a card-carying member of the Rush geek club. In order of favorite decade (best to "least best"): 1970s, 2000s, 1980s, and 1990s. Some of their best stuff was on their last album. Gotta respect their musicianship.

Another album I've been listening to again lately is Red Hot Chili Pepper's Californication. Good stuff.

Good one.

I recommend anything Josh Homme touches, especially Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age (the older the better typically). That and Baby ***** - Ween.

Johny Cash-Hurt
White Stripes-Denial Twist/My Doorbell
Scott matthew-Lithium Flower (the only song I have ever heard from this guy)

Holy crap, you're the first person I've seen listening to Mindless Self Indulgence. It's some crazy stuff they make, but kinda catchy too. Heard Kill The Rock in Terminator 3 and decided to pick it up.

Anyways, I have 6212 tracks in playlist, average track length: 4:06. Estimated playlist length: 424 hours 48 minutes 11 seconds and I have everything from Eminem to TATU to Rammstein to local ballads.

Phony Smiles and Fake Hellos - Black Label Society - Stronger Then Death (anything by BLS actually, this just happens to have a serious bass line)

Rain When I Die - Alice In Chains - Dirt

Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr - Trivium - Ascendancy

I'm surprised how many people listen to Tool. As well they should, the band kicks most a.ss. In a side (but related) note, anyone enjoy the Perfect Circle stuff as much?

Looking forward to the new Tool album and trying to figure out how to pronounce the name properly.

I'd recommend:

They Might Be Giants - they have many albums, I would go with either Lincoln or Flood to start with, most of their best songs are on those two.

Violent Femmes gets a vote from me too.

Jim Infantino - my favorite of his is "Titanic". His band's name is Jim's Big Ego, but Titanic wasn't with them.

Right on!

I'm a big fan of Les Claypool and all his various projects - Primus, Sausage, Holy Mackerel, Frog Brigade.

I also like to go old - real old. Vivaldi, Bach, Haydn, Strauss, etc.

It's in my car, and the files and Nero listing are on my home computer, so the earliest I could do it would be after lunch, or tonight.
