Anything.

I dont care if its Sonny Rollins, Mars Volta, or pure cheese pop stuff. Name of song/band/cd drop it. Anything goes. I don't need a reason on why they are good. The music will swim or sink on its own.

Do:

I'd recommend

Sun Going Down - Tea Party
Tool Push It (Live Version) - off of Salival.

Just songs/albums/bands recommended

Don't:
At the Drive In, like omg the best punk band evar I can't believe they split up. I had a friend of a friend who...

I will rate that sh'it down. I dont want a critique.

Haunted by Poe

Pay particular attention to "Haunted", "Control", and "Walk the Walk"

Standing at the Edge by Casey Stratton

And NOT just because he's an old high school friend of mine.

(Unfortunately, buying either of these albums will not benefit the artists a single bit, as they have both left their contracts with Sony, but they're still good albums. If you like Casey, try picking up Casey Stratton's new album "Divide" at www.caseystratton.com which he has released under his own label. As for Poe, last thing I had heard, she'd had surgery on her vocal cords and hasn't released anything since "Haunted")

The people that like NIN might want to check out their double CD "All that could have been" 1cd is live concert 2nd cd is piano/acoustic stuff.

Tool I thought I had all their CD's until I found "Salival" which is live song + covers such as No Quarter by Led Zepellin.

(both can be gotten off Bittorrent if you down load the bands discography)

I used to be able to do a killer lounge singer version of "Head Like a Hole" a la Bill Murry on SNL.
