I refer to mine by function (workstation, fileserver, laptop), though I have a tendency to rename the various hard drive partitions after characters from The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged (e.g. Roark).

Mine is dubbed KICKASS. At least when we're connecting it to our network. But inreality I call it the giant purple monster. It's Alienware

Mine is simply "My Computer"

Her laptop is "the expensive paperweight"

For some odd reason she thinks its too bulky and refuses to use it most of the time ...

I wouldn't have guessed in a million years that people name their computers beyond just decriptive names to distinguish one from the other.

I guess ours are described as: your laptop, my laptop, the big computer and the new computer.

Just wondering, has anyone named their stapler? My is called Louis.

Same here. Only I'm the wife.

Now I have to think up cutsie and/or thought provoking names for our computers.

/sigh

Ditto. Maybe I'll do the **** name game and name our computers those. Does Anne Vaio sound OK?

Despite the wishes of death I'm sure I garnered in the past I am still alive. I didn't think any one would remember me. I fell away from EQ1, then here, then the Internet period as the first place I moved to was only dial up capable. Got my new house in Nov and have finally finished building my rig and got cable internet hooked up this very morn. And the people rejoiced.

The people being me.
