Apolitical enough to not care either way, but taking your quiz I turn out to be more liberal than not

I. Homosexuality.
Used to think it's wrong, then I learned that a close friend of mine was gay. He's still the same person. Now I believe that just because it's not the lifestyle for me, doesn't make it bad for everyone else.

II. Evolution
Good theory, doesn't mean that it wasn't God's work either. He may have planned it :)

III. Gitmo/Abu Ghraib Abuses
National, international disgrace.

IV. Immigrants
Legal immigrants with valid work permits, GOOD. Freeloaders sucking dry the economy, BAD.

V. Abortion
A womans right, just hope she won't regret it later on

VI. Death Penalty.

Hmmm...story eh? Does it have to be real? Hmmm... Well for me a fun story is how I for no reason at all, laughed at the floor; realizing how stupid that was I began laughing at myself hysterically until I couldn't breathe and it hurt...alot. Yea I was drunk. Maybe more funny for others would be hide and go seek in a 24 hour grocery store...when I was drunk. Maybe when I got right hammered in under 10 minutes when me and some friends were intending on going to the movies; when we got to the movies I had to **** and somehow I managed to get lost going to and from the bathroom. Damn my best stories are college drinkin stories lol.

I noticed that alot of people type something derogatory about FFXI when they mentioned they played it.

+1 for the Asylum for making FFXI-hate a trend!

A guy is at the Pearly Gates, hoping to be admitted, and St. Peter says to the guy, "I can't see that you did anything really good in your life, but you never did anything bad either. I tell you what, if you can tell me one really good deed that you did, you're in."
So the guy says, "Once I was driving down the road and saw a gang of bikers assaulting this poor girl. So I pulled over, got out my car, grabbed a tire iron and walked straight up to the gang's leader--a huge ugly guy with a studded leather jacket, bald head but with hair all over his body, and a chain running from his nose to his ear.

Undaunted, I ripped the chain out of his nose and ear and smashed him over the head with the tire iron. Then I turned around and, wielding my tire iron, yelled to the rest of them, 'You leave this poor, innocent lady alone! You're all a bunch of sick, deranged animals! Go home before I teach you all a lesson in pain!'"

Impressed, St. Peter says, "Really? I can't seem to find this in your file. When did this happen?"

"Oh, about two minutes ago."

Older than most of you (but not all) and certainly old enough to know what the hell I'm talking about. Most of the time.

I hate to play politics, but I'm Liberal in the sense that people should be able to do whatever the hell they want as long as they aren't violating anyone else's rights.

FFXI, WoW.

I find most of you folks fairly interesting, believe it or not.

Nah. I'm sure there's enough ways to ruthlessly mock me without setting myself up for it.

1. Homosexuality.
I don't care what you do in the bedroom. That being said, keep it there please, regardless of if it two guys, two girls, or a guy and a girl or the whole town. If I wanted to see people rubbing on each other, I'd get a **** tape.

2. Evolution
As a scientist I lean towards it, but I personally think evolution might have been a tool in creation. I don't think the "days" in the Genesis account really mean a 24 hour period...especially since the days are determined by the sun...which was created later.

3. Gitmo/Abu Ghraib Abuses
We were made to look pretty stupid, both in what happened, and how it was handled. It's hard, however, to find a great deal of sympathy for people involved in rather henious crimes.

4. Immigrants
There need to be a balance between allowing immigrants in and having too many of them place a strain on our social services systems. I'm all for the immigants who come in, work hard, and because a part of our country. I'm not too fond of those that go on welfare, stay unemployed, and raise up the crime rates.

And for god's sake, if you want to become an American citizen, learn English. There are people in my building, in Chicago, who came from Poland and Russia who do not speak a word of English.

If I suddenly moved to another country, you'd be damn sure I would work hard to learn the native language out of both respect for the citizens of that country as well as for my ability to function in that country.

5. Abortion
I'm a man. It isn't my business until I'm the father. Since that'll never happen, it's a moot point. If I were to impregnate someone I have a right to decide the fate of that child as much as the woman does.

6. Death Penalty.
Oddly enough I don't have a strong stand on this. It seems to me if you do a crime bad enough to warrent the death penalty, then you get what you deserve. However, there have been too many cases of sentances being overturned because of faulty evidence or whatnot to make me entirely comfortable with the idea.

7. The War in Iraq.
I think our administration blundered horribly in how they handled it. It's been both a financial and PR nightmare, and I have never understood why we seem to deem it our responsibility to right all of the world's wrongs. Did we have reasons to go to war? Maybe. Am I convinced they were the right reasons or good enough? No.

8. Gun Control.
As cliche as it is...guns don't kill people. People kill people. I'm all for assualt weapons bans. I don't see any possible reason why anyone needs a machine gun. However people should have the right to own weapons for hunting or personal protection in their homes.

Abu Ghraib? Funny how a few bad apples make a mess of American PR. Also funny how the rest of the world looks away at the atrocites that Saddam did as well as what has happened in Africa, Bosnia, and other countries. Not a lot of press about those bodies being hung off of bridges in Iraq or the thousand and thousands of people being slaughtered in Afica.

Guns? Guns don't kill people! It's those damn BULLETS! And ignorant people. Funny how noone talks about how since England banned guns the amount of violent crime has sky rocketed. Yet in that same period of time America's violent crime has decreased.

Abortion? Me and my wife are Pro-Life. I won't get into an argument about it, but I will say this. Why doesn't a man have a say in abortion when he is also responsible for the genetic material in an embryo?
