Earth and Beyond sucked.

A lot.

/repeat story about getting 72 hour suspension

I was levelling my Progen Warrior out in some corner of the galaxy with no one around for hours and hours. All of a sudden a guy shows up and starts grinding same mobs. There are lots of mobs so I have no problem with it.

The guy starts harrassing me though "get off my spot" "this is my spot". I just ignore the guy and keep on going I was there firsta anyways so I have no clue what the guy is talkign about. Soon the guy is going on open access channels in other systems screaming about me. He is cussing up a storm and wouldnt shut up it went on for an hour and he got more and more aggressive. I stay polite the entire time. Not one mean word back.

Now EnB had a pretty strict harrassment policy and I figure so I figure "what the hell" and report the guy. I ended up leaving to go do something else. All the while I am chatting about what is happening with my guild.

About 2 hours later I get a response from a GM. The GM is quite pissy with me and tells me "I am banning you". My natural rsponse was "mwah?" since I played nice and was the one that was harrassed. So I asked "why?" The GM told me for "swearing" I asked him to cite an example since I went out of my way to keep it clean. After some hassling I got him to cough it up and I found out the exact swear that got me banned.

The word was "Damn"

It turns out that I had said "this damn guy is harrassing me" on guild chat. Not on open chat and not to the guy. I then had a moment of genius and remembered that all /guildchat is exempt from harrassment and language rules according to the EULA because it is a private channel. I mentioned this.

The GM went apesh'it. He then enlightened me that the real reason for my ban was because he was sick of dealing with whiney players reporting other players and that if I so much as typed two more words that I would be perma banned.

72 hours later I tried getting in contact with EA/Westwood to discuss the situation and they pretty much gave me the run around for 3 months.

Amazing how everyone put "sick of both" for the political question. Take a stand you pussies.

Or I guess you'd all rather cop-out, attempt to make yourself seem like a unique snowflake that's too cool for labels.

Ok, I'll do this.

1. Texas (don't blame me for Bush, he was stupid before anyone could help him).

2. My high school contained a total of maybe 6 computers, all Apples.

3. If they've done what's necessary to win the elections then I don't believe a word they say. Both parties are full of crap and the system seems to work best (relative) when the party balance is so close that neither can get anything done.

4. FFXI, WoW, SWG and Guild Wars (GW may not count as an MMO, especially the way I've played it).

5. The women.

6. A tree fell on my head once and I didn't even drop my beer.

7. I'm not a wombat, but I play one in real life.

When I find a label that fits, I'll proudly wear it. Until then I'll enjoy being labelless ol' me.

Well you could pick a point on the political diamond that fits you.

Or you could say "Well I'm liberal regarding these types of issues, but conservative on these."

Or "I'm a religious nutcase and every night I reenact Jesus' birth via the nativity scene I keep inside my mangina."

etc, etc.

1. Where are you from?
I was born in cali, grew up in Arizona and have been living in texas for about 10 years.

2. How old are you?
older than some

3. Liberal, Conservative or sick of em both?
I am sick of them both. I would love to see someone stand up and say, "Sure I smoked bowls and did 2-3 strippers a day in high school but I have cut back in my old days". But, they would rather lie and dig up dirt about eachother instead. Also, not one of them gives a **** about anybody who isn't sticking money in their pockets.

I grew up republican but ever since college I have leaned more liberal. I still don't know if I could stomach to say I am a member of either party or not.

That being said, as far as I am concerned georgy can have all of his hair plucked out, be set on fire, put out, be set on fire, put out, covered in alcohol, rubbed in salt, rolled in vinegar, set on fire, put out, mass indian burns, rinse and repeat as needed.

4. What MMO's have you played?
ffxi and wow. I have a history of playing text based MUDs and also enjoy fps a whole lot.

5. Who is your favorite Asylum poster?
the one with the biggest bewbs.

6. Tell me your best joke/story
my life has been a pretty good joke lately. sad joke, but still...

7. Wombats. Yes or No?
do they come with bbq sauce?

Same here.

Most issues: Conservative.

Some issues: Liberal.

But Canadian politics have been way too publicized these past 5 years and I'm getting tired. I just wish we'd be able to elect a majority government that could shut-up and run things smoothly for 4-5 years.

But nooooo, it's minority after minority which means back to the polls in another 18 months!
