One of my friends parents works for the academy. They get movies on DVD before they are out of the theaters. So she brings this movie over and we start watching it. It makes Brokeback look like playtime in Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Premise: A trans-gendered pre-op goes across country to find his/her/whatever son who just happens to be a male hooker/junkie. I’m not really sure how I felt about the movie, other then sheer amazement of it’s deranged content.

Again … /shudder

No, it was the movie with Agent Smith playing a transvestite.

Yeah but, none of these movies are up for awards. This movie has already won two Golden Globes. I'm pretty sure it's up for some Oscars too.

Suprising how manly Felicity Huffman looks. Seems like someone that would pull some brass knuckles out of her purse and punch a guy out for saying so though.

Bill Macy seems to think she's doable enough.

It's odd to think sometimes how sheltered mainstream America is when it comes to ulterior lifestyles.

Not my point, unless you constitute the bulk of mainstream America. Just in case you do, quit voting Republican, wouldja?
