LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The Incredible Hulk is now a county sheriff's department reserve deputy.

Lou Ferrigno, 54, who played the green-skinned monster on the CBS-TV show from 1977 to 1982, was sworn in during a ceremony Monday night.

Ok, not too much funny here, it's actually kinda cool. Still, one snickers at how many silly references to the Hulk will be made while he's on duty.

I suppose that depends on how bad said referencer wants to end up in a Rodney King type video. The dude may be 54 but I still wouldn't fuck with him.

I thought that guy was deaf? I might be thinking of someone else, but I could have sworn that the Hulk couldn't hear ****. So if you plan on having a bit of fun at his expense, just make sure that he can't see your mouth when your doing it.

As we all know the Hulk, like Jesus, is awaiting his return until he can come up with a way to control the rage within.

I guess smacking the crap out of Gang banging Blackies and Hydraulicing Hispanics on a regular basis is one method of therapy.

That's a pretty long commute from living next door to Doug and Carrie in Forest Hills, Queens, NY. =/

I remember him being deaf as well.

It's probably a plus. That way you don't have to listen to the screaming when you're pounding smeone with your nightstick or the dumbass excuses people try to hand you that make you reach for it in the first place....

kewl, but they forgot to mention his real life HULK story.

this goes back to early 80s, if not late 70s, his son was playing in the front yard and a semi truck cab lost its breaks. Lou Ferrigno jump in front of the cab and stopped it from rolling over his son.

IIRC his son is also hard of hearing like his father. he also broke his forearm in the proccess of stopping the cab.

a true HULK in action.
