Rapid changes in temperature usually seem to correspond with me getting sick, too, for some reason.

I'm glad we're finally getting some winter weather, though. I went through all the trouble of bringing my snowboard up from home, and subsequently wasn't able to use it for the past month.

I'm just trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my Jeep. My moronic college sees it fit to close off half of the parking lots during snowy times for snow removal. Considering its next to impossible to find an open spot as it is, we normally park on the public streets. The public streets however are snow emergency routes so we can't park on them. So, I'm guessing I'll have to park it on my lawn or something, hah.

We're supposed to get our first real snow this weekend. This is normal for TN though, it rarely gets really cold until Feb.

It was 60degrees here in Delaware last week. This is ridiculous. Mother Earth needs to make up her mind, she's been PMSing lately.

On a side note, I'm trying to find out whether that movie Firewall is worth seeing. Any ideas?

...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
THE LATEST FORECAST INFORMATION CONTINUES TO INDICATE AN INCREASE
LIKELIHOOD THAT A POWERFUL WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT THE REGION FROM
LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON OR EVENING THROUGH MIDDAY SUNDAY WITH NEAR
BLIZZARD CONDITIONS POSSIBLE DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE STORM.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE SOUTH COAST LATE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING. IT SHOULD SPREAD NORTH INTO THE MASS PIKE
REGION DURING SATURDAY EVENING...AND THEN REACH SOUTHWEST NEW
HAMPSHIRE AROUND MIDNIGHT.
THE HEAVIEST SNOW SHOULD FALL LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO MIDDAY SUNDAY.
IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT SNOWFALL RATES WILL REACH 3 INCHES PER HOUR
AT TIMES ALONG WITH A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION.

GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS MAY CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW
WITH POOR VISIBILITY.
NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE IN THE HARTFORD...
WORCESTER...BOSTON AND PROVIDENCE AREAS DURING THE HEIGHT OF THIS
STORM.
BY THE TIME THE SNOW TAPERS OFF SUNDAY AFTERNOON...TOTAL SNOWFALL
SHOULD AVERAGE 8 TO 14 INCHES. THE HIGHEST TOTALS ARE LIKELY TO
OCCUR FROM THE HILLS OF NORTHEAST CONNECTICUT TO THE INTERSTATE
95 CORRIDOR BETWEEN PROVIDENCE...BOSTON AND THE NEW HAMPSHIRE
BORDER.

SOMEWHAT LOWER TOTALS OF 4 TO 8 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED ON
NANTUCKET AND THE OUTER PORTION OF CAPE COD...WHERE RAIN MAY MIX
IN FOR A TIME SUNDAY MORNING.
THIS IS A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS WINTER STORM. TRAVEL MAY BE
SERIOUSLY IMPACTED BY THE COMBINATION OF POOR VISIBILITY AND
SLIPPERY ROADS. PLAN TO HAVE TRAVEL COMPLETED BY LATE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON.
STAY TUNED TO NOAA ALL HAZARDS WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA
FOR UPDATED INFORMATION ON THIS WINTER STORM.

You are going to be hit with a T.B. epidemic?? Did you alert the national guard?

of course on my way home from work they're beginning to waffle on how bad the storm will be. Now they're bantering either 6-12 or 4-8 but they don't know. With it being New England, I predict 60 degrees with clear skies.

The winter up here in the north country has been relatively mild...so far...it was 30s, 40s, with a few inches of snow at a time...
This week, it never broke single digits. Smiley: yikes

It's a day later DSD, it's been above freezing all day...

It's wet snow now. Make with the snowmen before it melts in the next couple days ^^
