So I was just involved in a fist fightFollow

This isn't the sort of thing I would normally post. My heart is racing right now and I need to vent so i'm taking it out on my keyboard and you guys.

Anyways, so my friends Dan, Ashley, and Lee and I were walking back from another friends house. We get on to our street, and on the way pass some of our friends on the way (they have a house on the same road as ours). So we stop and say hi to our friend Red and the 2 girls with him.

We said goodbye, and turned to walk away when this kid who'd been outside of a house near ours storms over and starts screaming "what the fuck did you say about me?" to Red. He hadn't said anything other than see you guys later, so no one had any clue what he was ranting about. Next thing we know the kid pushes Red, punches him twice square in the mouth, and then tackles him to the ground.

So we turned around and ripped him off of Red, but the kid broke loose and nailed Red again across the face. We went to grab him and ended up all getting a little roughed up (he was a big guy, probobly some football jock). So we manage to get Red back inside their house at the time, while the guy's girlfriend is screaming at him to stop. He freaking turns, punches the one girl who'd been with Red outside their house, and then takes his girlfriend and slams her head into the brick wall. He saw her on the ground crying, and took off to his house down the block. We carried Beth (the girlfriend) inside and checked to make sure she was ok, along with the other girl. Red had his front teeth knocked loose, and his lip is split in 2 places (that I could see).

So we went to leave the house after we were sure everyone was somewhat tended to (the girl wouldn't let us call the police because the **** was her boyfriend). So we leave their place, and the ******* is standing outside trying to call us out. He gets in my face, and I tell him to fu
ck off and leave us alone, he pushed me, but I just kept walking. He followed us for about half a block and then went back into his place.

We stopped back at my house to make sure we were all alright. I've got a shiner, my friend Dan has a bruise on his cheek. Lee seemed untouched. Dan leaves to go back to his house, and I tell him to keep my number dialed on his cell phone, and if he needs me just call and I'll sprint up with a bat. He calls when he gets back to his house, but warns that the guy was talking about doing crap to our house. Some of the crap is bad enough that Dan comes back with one of his other house mates, and the kid was waiting for them outside of his house. He started trying to pick another fight, and followed them almost to our doorstep where I was standing with a knife (no, I don't fuck around when my friends are involved, especially when they're like family). He turned around, and left.

Then one of the girls calls us, and tells us that he's there talking with his girlfriend. Then his dumb *** girlfriend gets up and goes back home with him.

That's it. My heart is still pounding, and my face hurts, but damn. I don't know what else to say.

You, sir, are the pinnacle of self control. If I ever saw somebody punch one of my friends repeatedly, then punch his girlfriend, and then slam a girl's head into a brick wall, I'd have fucking beat him to within an inch of his life. It wouldn't matter how big he was.

Next time, f
uck what anybody says. Restrain him, then call the cops and file a battery and/or assault charge. Or, whoop his *** and send him packing.

Thats very likely coming. Once the girl's brother finds out. My goal is going to be to make sure we feed the parts to the pigs on time, heh.

What is it about the word "so" that makes it good for beginning an awkward or difficult to muster phrase? I wonder when it entered the lexicon, it seems like a relatively modern convention.

Pardon my abhorrant misuse of the english language, one tends to make mistakes with grammar whilst bleeding.

BTW Tricky, when did you change your avatar from Calvin and Hobbes?

It wasn't a grammar nitpick, I was just generally curious. I use the technique myself in conversation.

Haven't had the Calvin & Hobbes avatar in over a year. It wasn't hardcore enough for the asylum :P

I would do the same thing, Demea.

Next time if that happens, call the cops and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid till the cops show up.

Unfortunately the abuse to the women, while justtifying violence in your eyes, won't really matter if the cops get called. For any violent altercation, you get one hit of equal force for every one you recieved. If he punches you once, you get to punch back once, etc. This is aside from any other related charges that could be laid on your doorstrep, like creating a public disturbance. If he's punching you and other women, use that cellphone and call the police. Escalating violence and using a knife just guarantees that next time he'll come after you with a gun.

As for the girlfriends, they have to press charges and get restraining orders on their own. No friend or brother can do it for them.

If someone did that to my friends, that ***** would be ******* dead. As for the knife, as he turned away i wouldve either ran up to him and stabbed him or threw it at him.

Remember whenever you are forced to defend yourself, go for the crotche, the mans weak spot. Then when kneeling kick in the face, the FACE.

But what a stupid ***** girlfriend, going back with him. Is she ******* retarded.

yeah, as seems the general concensus, the minute that this event occured, all bets are off. That's it.. I'd have been grabbing any blunt object I could find and beat that motherfucker down with it.

no question about it. no question about it

By count you had Lee, Dan, Red and Yourself. The guy started hitting girls. That is a warrant for a bum rush if there ever was one.

Sounds like a trip gone terribly wrong. I'd have beat the shit out of the guy or atleast gone back and tried to run him over.

Agreed. Hitting a woman is just asking for it if I'm there. Just hope that there isn't anything in arms reach that I could grab to attempt to paralyze your from the neck down with.

Ah, testosterone.

Stories like this are why I laugh when men talk about how out of control womens' hormones are.

Yup. Even when I was a crazy pregnant lady, I never once got to the point of saying that I would paralyze someone, haha.

Your friends make me sick. They are the reason domestic violence is still tolerated. Not calling the police doesn't do anyone any favours in the long run. If the guy is that loose a canon, the next time he just might kill someone. How will that sit with you?

I think that most of you can agree that Katie is not really the best representative of the entire female gender (not that that's a bad thing Katie).

Drugs of some sort must have been involved.

I'd ask if our resident druggie was the guy, but I think from his past stories he'd have been the one getting his *** kicked.
