What's with the 20,000+ postcount, man?

Curious, and - er - interesting from this view...

He has one of those dipping bird thingies strapped to his keyboard, that writes half his posts for him. That or he might just have some sort of cushy landscapeing job with internet access and a fair amount of free time.

Divided by years, my post count is probably lower than that of a lot of folks. I've been around a long time and am graced with plenty of desk time to spend puttering away.

I agree, except for the wriggling part.

Luckily I own a computer that can access multiple websites so, when bored here, I can look elsewhere.

Just because you have no concept of what a friend or aquaintance is because you have no experience at it, does not mean it's not a good thing. I sense the green monster.

What do you accomplish when you talk to people? I'd like to know what I'm missing out on.

Oh, so funny. So you all are a big group of friends then, eh? Ah, makes sense now, I guess. So this forum is your own 'chatroom' that just goes on and on?

As opposed to?

I dunno... maybe you solve international mysteries and cure diseases when you shoot the shit with people.

Anyway, if it was filling me with a sense of ennui, I wouldn't do it.

By accomplishing nothing I ment that his work isn't being finished, not that communicating doesn't accomplish anything at all.

I suppose, but all I see here so far are random thoughts and links to news articles, usually forums have a basic point for a group of people that like it to find and discuss it (Video games, politics, TV shows et cetra).

*Shrug*

Every forum I've been a part of has had an Out of Topic section for news articles and random thoughts. One of them has about three sections devoted to the forum's "purpose" and five that are "out of topic" Smiley: laugh
