Premium members can download patches directly off Allakhazam.com though it lacks the 1.0-19 direct patch. You have to do 1.0-.1.1 then 1.1-1.2 etc.
Word on the street is that its a little faster that way.

All the old EQ die hards that we have talked into it have been quite pleased Demea, Nadenu etc. Its crazy now we have about 50 actual players in guild.

I had last left it downloading off Fileplanet but my dial-up timed out during the night and when I attempted to resume the download, Firefox decided it just wanted to restart it from scratch.
The actual WoW patcher was downloading it at a mighty 0kb-2kb per sec. Ermmm.... no.
I saw the Allakhazam patch list but, as you said, no 1.0-9.xx patch was available. I didn't know I could do it piecemeal but, and no offense to the game or anyone playing, but I'm not sure I care enough to fu[i][/i]ck around with twenty patch downloads.

You should do like Bhodi and I suggested. Get the patches that you can from here, then maybe your poor old dial up won't have to work so hard to get the final patches.

Jophiel I would just urge you to get that DSL. Other than that there are some programs out there that save progress of downloads no matter what. I found one and used it while dl'ing EQ trilogy. Saved my *** cause I kept halting 1/2 -3/4 of the way through which is a ***** with a couple gigabyte download.

I have a camper or two or three. I managed to **** em off and they lack the balls to step up, so they reach for the rate button. /shrug.
And Joph if you must do the entire dl in one sitting definitely try finding a program that saves partial downloads so you dont haveto start from scratch.

I've got some download manager slowly installing as we speak. Slowly because it has to download something from Microsoft.NET to work.
No idea if/when I'll be on. Couple days yet maybe if I'm mostly just downloading overnights. Was planning on trying it this weekend but... whatever
WoW is angering me before I even get started. At least EQ has the decency to patch via individual files so even if I time out, I only lose one small bit to start over with instead of blowing the entire patch
