I've done that. Sucks when you cut a body part you need to use all the time like the hand.

Silly as it may sound...in a pinch, duct tape or supergluee both work great. Get someone to hold the wound shut and seal it. With superglue, it burns like hell and you have to basically paint over the wound and hold it till the stuff dries, but it works fairly fast and holds well. You just don't want it down in there...

I hope you went to Union Memorial to get sewn up.

My ex was lucky he wasn't in the VA system when he cut up his arm and I had him sent to UM even if I don't like him. He wouldn't have any use of his right hand but for their hand center.

They sew up my thumb once too, when I cut it open doing the dishes. Next time you find yourself bleeding all over the place do what I did and ask any women nearby if they have a Pad you can use. Doctor says I did the right thing.

That's waht where my roomate suggested.. said they're good for hand wounds or some ****.. heh.

but no, I didn't get stitches.. luckly the chunks of skin were still there and fit snugly back into place, sealed with some Neosporin.
