Nexa... its okay. Sometimes it gets brutal for a few days here, especially to us unprepared southerners. I'm missing a real winter though as I'm not used to this warmth. My heavy jacket is going unused... and I havn't seen more than about 4 inches of snow since I went skiing in West Virginia.

And when it does finally get cold down here (it snaps down in the teens sometimes) the humidity will pretty much be at 80%-90% without fail and the wind and the cold just go right through the clothing, no matter what or how much.

Luckily it doesn't happen too often. And I'm sure you don't envy the 100+ summers with 99% humidity for weeks on end.

We actually got some snow last night. Now I'm sitting here looking out the window as it all melts Smiley: cry Stupid sun.....

Normally in WI we have really cold winters w/ a ton of snow. I've been outside in a T-shirt! In Januray! I don't believe the whole global warming theory but... Smiley: eek

It's been between -30 and -50 for almost a week here. We finaly got enough cloud cover to bring the temp up to -25, but now it's going back down. The sewer line at work freezes almost every day, so the boss got a heated out-house. I work at a moutuary so when the pipes are frozen, no embalmings and business backs up. I still wouldn't live anywhere else.

Just drive in the carpool lane. If you have a nice car, chances are you are less likely to get pulled over.

Trust me, I know this from experience.
