Smiley: blush I'm not a shadow so much as a toy, I understand she has a hairy man-lover, but I gets in where I fits in . Katie, I'm certainly immune to your herpes, so when the man ain't treating you tits, come get some. Takes all comers, yes?

Coffee that is really American, NOT like what Europeans call American coffee.. or maybe it's just in Spain..

The store near where I live in California has Weetabix.. love the name but never tried it ..

The first time I was in Europe I missed real hamburgers.. but loved afternoon tea or chocolate with goodies ..

Really when traveling to unfamiliar places, it's a good idea to take your own tooth care stuff and toilet paper.. and a face cloth and towel ..

Or on the other hand, a toothbrush, mouthwash, floss, and a good dentist.
You must have visited England.

I was in Mexico for the honeymoon and you know what I missed?

The FDA.

No, seriously... they were selling other people's 5 year old perscription drugs in the little shop. There was a huge label on this old box of Immodium (I guess I got some of the water) that said "Use only as perscribed by a physician". Scary.

I'm sorry you miss sweet tea. I don't know if I could do without it for very long. Hard to get anywhere above VA. I don't think I could go up north for long and live without biscuits and gravy (?? don't know if that is southern specific), rice and hash, collards, and the rest of those down home foods.

Ketchup, mustard, real napkins. Hard to find real napkins in Peru. Most restaurants peel them apart and then cut them in half to save money. A high-speed internet connection. Thai food, since it hasn't spread that far South yet.

Mostly I miss the way everything always seems to be open around here around noontime. Dirty siesta-time gets me. Smiley: mad
