Please find your way to the allafemme thread, you will feel better quickly.

Make sure to use this card when asking for the bewb and beaver pics. Chicks dig sensitive men (and cats).

Sorry for your loss Neph.

That's why I want a wake when I pass on. I want everyone to be too drunk to cry. I have a budget for booze and shuttles to drive people home set up in my will. Smiley: boozing

It feels a bit better if you had closure beforehand.

Funerals are good for the family in a way. I didn't cry over my grandpa til the wake and the funeral. I pre accepted his death, expecting it any day now, and then one morning I wake up and hes gone, I accepted, but it hadn't truly hit me til the wake.

You should have brought a mini TV so you could watch football, like Joey in the first season of "Friends".

My condolences. Watch out for sudden bouts of anger or tears. Maybe both. Now that the offical acts of mourning have passed, it'll be hard to find a socially acceptable time to feel good about bawling her eyes out.

I found the best way to get over funerals was to head over to the bar afterwards with the fam, toast in honor of your loved one who passed away, and talk about good memories of him/her. My entire family did that when one of my grandfathers died in April. We all headed to the bar after, bought his favorite drink ( screwdriver) and toasted him.

My condolances to you and your Mrs.

Sorry for you and your wife Nephthys. Be ready to hug her up good at any moment.

Funerals do suck, but they're important too.
