Microsoft hates Jews!Follow

I was listening to my local morning radio show (since I still can't afford Sirius, yet) the other day when one of the DJs was talking about some kind of controversy surrounding Microsoft and one of their fonts.

It seems the deal is when you use Microsoft's "Wingdings" font, and type NYC (all caps) it comes out as a skull & crossbones, the Star of David, and a hand giving a thumbs up.

Now, apparently, some people or group, or whatever, is saying that this is a sign that Bill Gates and/or Microsoft supports terrorism in the name of jewish genocide.

Yeah, I'll admit that's one big friggin coincidence, but honestly I think this is a case of someone (or some people) looking WAY too much into things.

Bill Gates is like richer than God. I'm pretty sure if he wanted to exterminate the jewish people, he could single-handedly fund the project and still afford to clone Johnny Cochran as his defense attorney.

I highly doubt that Gates was sitting around his place at the time and said to himself, "I know! I'll create a font based on symbols. I'll assign these three symbols corresponding to the common abbreviation for New York City in hopes that one day radical terrorists will decode my message and exterminate the jews!"

I really haven't researched this yet as I'm still kinda laughing my *** off at the latest conspiracy theory, but IIRC, this is actually getting some kind of legal attention. I may be wrong though. People will fall for anything.

Well Ill be damnned. You are probably right though, people looking way too much into things.

There was something with Microsoft Word and the Thesaurus awhile back that gave racist suggestions for certain words. Can't remember what it was though Smiley: frown
