Democracy rules! Freedom is on the march!Follow

this is what i have been trying to tell you people for a while now. what 1000 years of history has been trying to tell you.

nowhere on the planet do people have more say in theri leadership than the middle east.

ill let you get over your laughing fit for a min........

arafat supported terrorism against Israel BECAUSE that is what the people WANTED. Osama bin laudin was a leader because he supported what the people WANTED. there are no leaders in the middle east. there are only people who stand up and spit out the desired of the people.

if arafat had seriously tried to make peace with Israel, he would have died alot sooner. and remember when Abbas last tried to stand for peace and quickly resigned? death threats. and not from arafat.

you give these people freedom, you end up with someone a hell of a lot worse than anything we have delt with before.

do any of you think Hussin could have possibly stood up against the resistance we are facing in Iraq? for 30 years? under his rule, there were no bombings, no roadside ambushes, no secular violance. why? because he game them what they WANTED. a strong MUSLIM voice.

our western mentality is that the leader defines the people. in the middle east, it is the people who define the leader.....or they die.....one after another.....untill they find one they will listen to, or more to the point, someone who will put a voice to their will.

you can kill every leader in the middle east. all of them. adn nothing would change. we know, we have ben trying for decades. just too stupid to learn from our mistakes.

the path to peace in the middle east is not one of force. it is one of time and moderation.

instead of dealing with the CAUSE of terrorism, we have been dealing with the RESULTS, and in turn, creating the CAUSE itself.

untill we start dealing with the CAUSE, we will be doomed to dealing with the results. we wouldnt leave Saudi Arabia when the people rose up in protest of us being there. instead, we bribed the Saudi royal familey into bannishing their voice from his own country, Osama Bin Laudin. instead of listening to the people of the middle east, we played american style politics, bribes and corruption, to get what we wanted, and what we got was 9-11.

it is our own stupidity and ignorance that led to this mess. and i say stupidity and ignorance because 1000 years of history in the middle east told us this is what would happen. hell, we have known for years it was a matter of WHEN and not IF. but still , we tried to push our will, our way of life on to the people of the middle east by doing what we do best. bribeing and corrupting the leaders into doing our bidding.

our fault. our stupidity. our ignorance.

and our response? invading and occupying a muslim country. OMG are we asking for it. we are begging for it.

we deserve it.
