Good question.

Don't trust people, don't care about people I guess.

Live and learn.

FUCK, who knows. At 44 I'm still trying to learn to judge character and still getting it wrong.

The difference is that you're a fucking space cadet and Exo possesses the intelligence of someone post-jr high art class.
But yes, I would hit it if you let me. Thanks.

Wait, where were we?

She's stuck on Aiden. Of course, so is everyone else as it was the number one boys name of 2005.

She is still adamant, and considering she won't let me name him Leviathan or Lionslayer, I am kinda stuck.

And yes Joph, I asked about Stumpy. No dice.

My husband wanted to name our daughter "Destroyer of Worlds" so maybe he'll have some tips for you on how to manage your disappointment. Smiley: glare

I confess that Aiden was one of my favorite boy names as well. Also Liam, Evan, and Ethan. I like names that don't have nicknames.

First off, don't feel like an idiot. Sometimes I feel like an idiot when I get screwed over by people, but in the end, I would rather have a little faith in people and get disappointed occasionally than live my life full of bitterness and suspicion. Friendship is a leap of faith and sometimes you fall flat, but it's the times that you don't that make it worth the risk.

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, try to learn a lesson from your experience. Just don't let that lesson be "I can't trust anyone" because that will hurt you far more in the long run than your ****** "friend" did.

As for today, try to do something you've never done before. It can be something mundane, but just do something. Never seen a movie or eaten in a restaurant by yourself? Try that. Just give yourself something new and refreshing to think about.

Nexa

Thanks, Nexa. I'll definitly take that advise to heart.

Name him Soda.
Sodapop and Ponyboy.

My son's name is Devin. Aiden is nice. Most popular eh, that's odd.

What will be the middle name, Aiden Leviathan has a ring to it.

Really? It ranked #40 in 2004. No SSA data for 2005 yet though so I can't call you a liar Smiley: wink2

Hannah ranked #5 for girls' names in 2004. Nexa, you conformist.

Step one: Stop liking other people.

Step two: When someone wants something, inform them you don't like them enough to do that for them.

Wow, this past year, my name was 10th overall and 5th in the state... of course I got beaten out by names like... well, wait, none of them are that odd, except (cool) Ethan.

For my birth year... second most popular in the country. First in the state. Oddly enough, for the state my middle name was the second most popular.

So... I'm either one of the masses or a trend setter. Depends on if the trend is started before, or after, March.

Make new friends, volunteer somewhere, museums are a good place, or the local theatre. From what I have read, and learned myself, just broadening the base of folks you meet can enrich your life.
Live and learn, take the knowledge gained to do better and resolve not to treat people as tools in the future.
Dont mean to be full of platitudes, but sometimes it's still good advice.
