Katie just irks me, at least as much as random poster 1,000's of miles away in another country can irk a person. Why? Simply put she is just f[b][/b]ucking dumb as nails. She isn't necessarily a bad person or hateful person. She is no Varus or Proof. She is just the type that will just agree and say what you want to hear in order to ingratiate herself with you and other than that she is completely void of anything worth mentioning. I know some people dont see it this way, but as Smoggy acknowledged a lot of people do.
She does however have the right to play with us. I might not agree or enjoy it but its just the way it is. I can deal with that. If I find her incessant and inane yammerings to be an issue I will either just use the ingame ignore function to block it out or stop playing with y'all and head over to my neglected lvl 60 Horde.

I would simply like to add a clarification to Big Daddy Smoggy's inspiring words of togetherness and bonding.
While all of what he said above is 100% accurate, it should be noted that until she actually gets in and makes her character, apps to the guild and the website she is still firmly planted within the friendly confines of the war zone and as such is fair game. Owing much of our sense of connectedness to our freedom to call each other any number of unsavory names and make veiled references to the nature of animal husbandry involved in one's genesis, we must remember that calls for manners are only acceptable in the confines of those "safe zones" refereed by Big Daddy himself.

We include SOs and RL friends in the guild, hence the balloon of numbers. Some lurkers have joined and have thusfar been acceptable at worst. All non-vets are given a trial period after which we will generally be able to tell. And if they turn out to be complete an cnuts after the trial, I for one am not too terribly reticent to propose a booting to the ruling coalition authority.

I also played EQ with Katie for a while. She's much more chatty on the boards than in game. Whereas I'm the exact opposite.
