NEW YORK (AP) -- Is "American Idol" homophobic? The Fox talent show elicited a response from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLADD) after judges Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson made what the gay rights group deemed questionable comments on last week's premiere episode.
On Tuesday's show, seen by a Nielsen-chart topping 35.5 million viewers, Cowell told one male contestant to "wear a dress" and Jackson asked another, "are you a girl?"
Men, women, gay, straight, or bi, walk around everyday expressing their gender, and/or sexual preference. This has always been done with what they wear, and by how they act.
They do this to attract attention. I just don't see how these GLAAD people could be so pissy over something as stupid as a comment, and a ribbing.
When hot women walk down the street in tight dresses and heels, they get comments and are the butt of a few jokes I am sure. ("Damn bro I'd get three jobs just to nail that!")
These people are attracting attention to themselves, and then acting like idiots when they get it.
Get over it GLAAD! and stop acting so gay!
I want a straight truckers' rights group now dammit!
