Wow! 11k feet above sea level. Nice. Very very very nice. Soo much snow. This is the most beautiful state. I cant believe I have to go back to Texas. Blah. Though Denver sucks!

Actually, Denver is pretty nice. The Broncos suck, yes. The city isn't bad.

Me and a buddy are actually playing hookey from work tomorrow to go up to Vail. My board is getting dusty, that can't be allowed.

Still alive and just had my first snow shoeing experience. My first step landed me knee deep in snow. What a blast. Much much fun! I'm thinking of standing up my best friend and her husband tomorrow so that Mr.Katie and I can go enjoy the snow some more. ***** Denver! Not a drop of snow in Denver. We went up in the mountain aways and are staying here for a nite or two.

Sounds like fun Katie. I'd love to see that much snow some day. But I guess that means I'd have to actually leave the south. Smiley: lol

/nod My hubby's from Denver and thinks Denver is like Shangri-La. I beg to differ. All I remember of Denver is cold, mushy weather.

You should visit Denver in Spring. It's one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen when Spring hits and people get out. During the winter, yes, it sucks.

Are you still doing all that missionary save the world stuff you talked about weeks ago? If so Kudos.

Or is this just a Katie Tour De Force of the US?

I spent one day and night in Colorado the summer after I graduated from high school. It was the first time I had seen or been in the mountains. I really wish we could have stayed a little longer. It was so beautiful. We drove past Denver and I must say I was a little dismayed to see the cloud of smog that hung over it.

Then we were off to Yellowstone.

3 freaking days we stayed in a KOA in bob forsaken Nebraska, but the beautiful Rocky Mountain state? Overnight. Smiley: mad

No, we are just on vacation, visiting family and friends is all. I'm actually posting from the traffic we are stuck in because of the snow. I love Denver in the snow. We went to Cave of the Winds and Garden of the Gods today. Very very beautiful.

Yes, I'm still volunteering with the Red Cross. Will be joining back in when I get home. It should be fun.
