Yeah, Field of Dreams - it's an ongoing gag between me and Aegis when we talked about getting people from the Asylum to come play WoW with us. We never thought the idea would steamroll like it has. Getting 20 people to join us was our overblown expectation at the time, 10 being realistic. Who knew that we'd now be around 40 folks now. It's mind-blowing and frightening all at once. Total toons (alts included) is now at 74.

Let's not forget the Alla's EQ guild, which flourished for over a year before many players left to WoW and EQ2. Or the Asylum OGame alliance, which is still running strong.

The threads are about different things - it can't be helped if the unwashed masses cannot differentiate. Again, nobody is forcing people to look at these threads.
