There is an old saying "A **** is a **** is a ****".

You are deficient. Like most people you are incapable of grasping that which you lack. It is ephemeral and elusive to those have never known it.

That said there are a lot of people such as Wint, JD, Barkingturtle who were lurkers or less known that I am glad to have with us. I just dont feel you have what it takes

I can take abuse that you all give, I have no issues with that at all, I just was curious how I was gutter trash when I asked a simple question. If the matter of the fact is that I may not have what it takes, that's fine, I can earn my respect via these forums.

This? Smiley: frown or Smiley: mad?

It's okay, whether I earn it one way or another I will try and get myself known on the asylum, and no, not as a troll.

The Asylum is not the asylum without the occasional fuck you.

I don't post much here, but i do always read, and if you can't take bhodi's heat, then, well that's just bad.

The only reason Aegis remembers his own name is because it pops up when he speaks. Don't be offended the boy is just slow.

Gutter trash...

Yes your right, I haven't shut up about it, yet I haven't blown up over being called gutter trash. I would just like to know how I am. But whatever, really doesn't bother me at all, was just curious. This is a forum, with people you will probably never meet, and what they say to you, really doesn't matter much, espically when its a GFY, of a **** off.

So, all in all, Meh.

Seriously I will leave the guild and go back to my 60 horde if you start letting gutter trash like this guy in.

"Crying Wolf" statements like the above concern me. Smiley: disappointed

I think it best that we leave discussion of granting or not granting guild invites on our own Asylumites boards.

Please start separating your Asylum personas and Officers and Members of Asylumites personas. I know, I know, it's a thin line at best. We've found some great new folks that were lurkers/new posters here on the Asylum. As Officers/Members of the guild, it's not really helping us if you chase off every potential new member. Please try to show a little restraint and discretion when it comes to representing the guild, mmmkay? Smiley: cool

With that said, I think it's safe to say that Kupoback needs to get settled in here a little further before we consider having him join us, if ever. He's clearly not hitting it off with some of you.

The point of the guild is that we all do need to get along, and if anyone cannot get along, it's simply not going to work out. There are thousands of guilds out there - we may not be the right one for you.

Yes, folks we know already here are gonna be shoo-ins. All new and lurking readers of the Asylum have gone thru the proper channel of PM'ing me or one of the other officers. Or, they should go to our website - go to Guildportal.com and search for Asylumites (our url is too damn long to remember) to read our Guild Charter and Guild Code of Conduct to get to know the Asylumites.

What I really need from all Officers and Members of the Asylumites guild is to register on our guild website so I can get a total number of actual individual guildmates.

When our numbers hit 50 actual players, we're gonna put a freeze on guild invites. We currently have a total of 76 toons (including alts, of course). I am not sure how many actual folks we have at this point. I know it's over 37, possibly under 45.

Then, we're going to start weeding out people who are never on - (Totem, it's been over 30 days, bro, where you at? Prison again? Smiley: tongue) - I don't expect everyone to be on daily or even weekly, but at least make an appearance one or two times a month.

I have no issues with that. I will try and make a name for myself here, but not as a troll, because I find that trolling the boards really accomplish nothing. This should also give me some time to save up for a Dell, or HP system of my own so I can play WoW at home. I understand kinda how your guild works, as I'm a 6 year EQ vet so I've been in about 5-6 guilds throughout those years. I think the longest I've been in a guild is about 2.5 years before EQII came out and they moved. But that's fine. I just was simply asking, and I appreciate that you, Smoggy, can explain this so nicly, and calmly.

Well Kupo, it's not guild related but I do have a position available for you if the aforementioned is true.

Sorry, Smoggy, but you can clearly see I was left no choice here, and I'm dying to try this new ball-gag out on someone.

I had actually sent a PM to Nadenu and created a character on SC, but the next day my friend picked up WoW and he didn't want to play on a full server or an RP server, so for now we are on Sen'Jin.

But, I do give asylum credit for making me want to try this game in the first place. I'm having a blast! I'm playing a gnome mage right now and it is a lot of fun. I doubt I'll ever go back to EQ2 now, it was just time for something new.

Might add that being a member of the guild probably doesn't give you free reign to post in the asylum.

Fact is, if you don't have thick skin and can't take a few jabs (or downright hazing) here, you probably shouldn't post here. You'll notice I really only reply to the 3 WoW threads we have going on here.

Everyone really should get over and register on the guildportal, Smoggy made the forums all pretty and there's not much conversation yet.

That is extremely easy as this "hazing" that everyone says online is from some guy/girl on his/her computer and they are just typed words, I don't know the person they have no meaning to me if said to me. It's like a random guy on the street coming up to me and saying, 'Oh yeah?! **** you!' I 'll just look at the guy and shake my head, it means nothing because I don't know the guy. Same thing for this forum.
