Everysingle person we have talked into playing World of Warcraft has fallen in love with it. The usual response is "OMG it is fun!". Not only is the game just great to play the other crucial component of a MMO is already covered; A group of people to play and interact with. Smoggy, DSD, Nadenu, Nexa, Aegis, Neph, Moe, as well as a lot of good people such as Nephs bro, Nadenus husband, DSDs Husband, Barkingturtle (lurker but good guy), my girlfriend, Johnny, the list goes on.
We quest together, shoot the sh[b][/b]it in guild chat, run dungeons, and I am currently trying to shape the poor bastards into a lean mean fighting machine for battlegrounds (Nadenu promises to die in style as always).
So go out spend the chump change on WoW or download the 10day trial. Log onto Shadowcouncil. Make an alliance toon and just do /who Asylumites. One of us should be able to help you.

Former FFXI'rs-turned-forum-lurkers welcome too? Just started playing it and the only thing I'm missing that I had in FFXI is a fun guild/linkshell.

No charge at all for the 10 day trial, also, no charge for the first month if you buy the game. They will ask for a credit card with either option just for verification purposes.
