Seattle actually get very little overall rain in comparison to many areas. We have a cloud cover far more often than others though it seems. Regardless, I <3 Seattle.

Oh and suicide? Probably sleeping pills. Physical consequences of a failed attempt would seem to be far less than other methods I think.

Yeah we just get wussy rain here, it just rains wussy rain a lot. What I wouldn't give for a substantial thunderstorm..."rain showers" are so fucking lame.

26 days now by the way Smiley: tongue.

I remember an article a few years back from a reporter who mved here (Seattle) from California.

She had never heard the term "sun breaks" until she came here and is convinced we made it up.

26 days of rain and I would like to see a sun break.

Just a little one.

When we do get the big storms, though, it really messes it up for us. You would think power lines and such would be better prepared for it, but no.

One more thing, why are so many drivers in Seattle so terrible? I mean dumb as dumb can be... One slight change in weather and they drive like they just got into a car for the first time.

We're supposed to have quite a bit of rain here today, high winds, possibility of a tornado, highes in the mid 60's.

Then, 2 inches of snow tomorrow Smiley: lol

TN weather, gotta love it.

Hahaha so damn true. Sun comes out and people are driving off the road because they are so busy gawking. I am a coach operator for a transit agency and most close calls I've experienced have been on bright, sunny days.

If I ever felt the urge to kill myself I'd probably punch myself in the face until I quit being such a puss.

As for rain, I try to think of mid-summer when I wish it would rain, and be glad it is. Then I get a blanket and soup and veg. Rain is good for that.

I see through you. This act of small talk based on the weather barely dillutes the desperation I feel in your cry for help.

On to the real question: How should you kill yourself? Like Nick Cage in Leaving Las Vegas. I mean beneath a hooker with a heart of gold grinding on your rigamortisized loins.

Rain doesn't depress me in the least. On the contrary, long stretches of sunny hot days do. I wouldn't live here if rain were a problem for me. A month of the SAME weather gets boring though.

1. I think it was November the last time it rained in the DFW area.

2. I would die shortly after saying "Hey everybody! Watch this!"
