345 people die so 10,000 lemmings can throw stones at pillars? I guess it's good their sins are purged.

Tens of thousands, not ten thousand.

Notice how they say 345 people died instead of that over 19,655 people lived and had their sins purged? I wonder why that is...

Sin purging jealousy by Catholics. I don't get to throw stones to purge sins; I have to talk to a damn priest. The Vatican can't allow the glorification of such an event.

Maybe because, last I've heard, throwing stones at bigger stones doesn't purge your sins?

Maybe?

Media bias. Grey skies, doom and gloom, you know, that old bag.

Alot of them would willingly put themselves in harms way there.

For them, to die on that Pilgrimage is instant trip to Heaven.

Allah be praised.

Of course. You're Catholic. You would have danced at the news that 10's of thousands were killed.

Sorry...that was mean. I'll go throw some rocks now.

What happens if you have really poor aim and hit some guy in the head an they die? Does that mean you have to throw more since you just broke a commandment? Smiley: dubious

That doesn't excuse 345 deaths. It's the rocks that do that.

They should start it all off with:

"Let he who hath never sinned cast the first stone."

Let's see how many whooshes we can collect...

Thousands of people trying to throw rocks at a big rock. What could possibly go wrong?
