Restate whatever it is you are trying to say, because it makes no sense like you put it.

What he ment was anyone who joined the services are well aware of the consequences and the possibility of war. No one else can be held accountable for that except the respective parties themselves.

Wow...and to think that 25-30 yrs ago we lost a TON more people.
At least this time, we managed to overthrow a dictator and his tyrannical government.

The lowest casualty estimates, based on the now-renounced North Vietnamese statements, are around 1.5 million Vietnamese killed. Vietnam released figures on April 3, 1995 that a total of one million Vietnamese combatants and four million civilians were killed in the war. The accuracy of these figures has generally not been challenged. 58,226 American soldiers also died in the war or are missing in action. Australia lost almost 500 of the 47,000 troops they had deployed to Vietnam and New Zealand lost 38 soldiers.

Changes the impact a little huh?

I watched this made for Showtime movie on the Masters of Horror series "Homecoming." It was pretty funny actually, it was about soldiers who came back from the dead as zombies to vote the current president out of office because he sent them to war for a lie. Anyway, one of the lines in it involved these republicans who had captured a zombie for testing. Guy #1 says "You can't kill them," and shoots it several times with a handgun. The zombie groans, and guy #2 says "But look, I think they feel pain!" Guy #1 replies "So what, they volunteered."

Untill the Army turns Draft style and your forced to go out there to defend our country, I wont be upset over these deaths. Saddened that someone died? Yes. But they knew the risks, they took the chance.

Any one who disagrees GTFO of the USA. I dont agree with every bill passed, or every ******** law, but its not like the world has a shortage of people. Same reason im pro choice, people complain about paying taxes for a war in iraq(which to me is ppointlessnow, because we shoulda killed sadam and got out) yet we constantly pay taxes because this country is over populated with f*cking people that exploit it. F*cking people who have 20 kids and dont raise them right, who go to jail and then I end up paying for their assestoget fed properly just because he raped some kid. There should be a looser death penalty. If you rape someone, Death. If you torture someone, death. Go the f*ck away you pyscho f*ckers who ***** up the human race.

Eh... If you join the military, you're bound to die sometimes.

Damn people who are too incompetent to benefit the economy and therefore must make a living off killing other people.

Death:the inevitable we can not, in no way escape, it occurs every day on a massive scale, i think what, 10,000 people where executed in china, per year, the US= roughly around 300, i may be mistaken, but with out death, life doesn't thrive, what we must all come to except, what we must find is contentment, no matter how much we moan, we all must find contentment in evryday tasks, thus we have endless hours of Forum posting and writing. Don't you enjoy it, making jokes at the ignorant, while that GED hangs from your studio apartment, it's funny how major events are one sided, how do you think the endless amounts of families that have lost loved ones on the other side feel? i'm not distinguishing good from evil, the light from the dark, we all have unique personalities, which in reality doesn't mean crap to the homeless guy in the back street taking a dump on a newspaper that reads "2000 killed in iraq" all he's worried about is: food, shelter, water. billions of bacteria die everyday in your body alone, do you weep for bacteria? i weep for the dead yes, but don't let death distract you from what it hasn't taken from you. I may be young and un wise, i may not have experienced situations others have experienced, but this grim toll is no more significant than the bacteria. we are all living organisms, so whilst you fret for you grande mocha, or the fact that your unconcious, face-down in some deserted street, thousands will die everyday, so on and so forth. I feel pity for your loses, may it be limbs, senses, loved ones, or that spilt grande mocha of yours, your still here among us all, spiraling around, spiraling out, you will never know where it goes, so until your time comes, when you spill your mocha, or your last breath, just take comfort in the emptyness

May your rambles be loud, may my run on sentences confuse you, and may my topics be completely trampled on by some guy wearing a greasy wife beater, in his underwear at 3 am rate my post down with a torent of extreme searches, and may our eyes be blinded, so we can finally hear what other have to say, so we can smell just more than the coffee.....

Well, we're not done yet.

Oh wait, maybe we are? It's been a stunning victory for democracy and people are dancing in the streets and giving our soldiers flowers and blowjobs, right?

I'm not posing that as a liberal's view of success; it was, I thought, very heavily sarcastic as the right's view of success, as was just pointed out. These liberals you keep referring to sound like a disturbing bunch.

If only you were educated enough to know that not only Bush was under the assumption of Iraq having WOMD being produced in their country.

I think people tend to forget and deny the fact that Clinton had infact Bombed many supposid munition factories in Iraq durring his presidency. Many of which were broadcast on live television to which the stealth bombers were shown bombing holy hell out of the factories.
