So I just saw my first concert by an artist that I've always enjoyed listening to.
Jason Mraz came up to the mountains to kick off his acoustic tour; first time I've ever been able to see an artist/band I like. Usually the 'fancy'* places have stuff from my parents defined age of music (like soft little gigs for the ones getting older.) Finally though, I got something I could enjoy and I must say, first concert was pretty great.
Halfway through the show some chick collapsed and leaned onto the stage, unconcious. She had been waiting there since the morning to get that front row spot (I waited an hour before the show started, had food to sustain my body to prevent from passing out unlike the one chick, and still got within 18 feet of Mr. A-Z for the show.) As if that wasn't funny enough, the guy is just so talented he created lyrics off the fly about the girl who had passed out (and they were pretty damn funny).
So yeah, yay me. Does anyone like Jason Mraz? Heard of him? What's been your best concert experience? Worst?
