Finished MovingFollow

#1 Jan 08 2006 at 1:26 AM Rating: Excellent

Just thought I would pop in and say I am finished moving. I dunno how much I will be around though, I am only semi settled. I dropped my husband off at the airport today and am not doing so well I suppose.

At least it is not cold outside here...no more snow. I feel awfully alone though. Chocolate to the rescue!

Welp you could show your boobs. It would brighten your day, and mine as well. Just pop those twins right out! You'll feel better, I promise.

Good to see you again Kat!

So, hubby's gone already? Smiley: frown I know what will cheer you up... come play WoW with us! Heh.

Seriously, that bites.

I might come play sometime soonish, but I have school starting up next week and I tend to get rather swallowed in that.

Hubby is in NY waiting to be deployed, so he is still in the states but 1200 miles away. I expected to be more depressed about it...sadly, I think I have gotten used to this crap. Yesterday I was quite depressed and mad at the world, but today has been alright. I suppose somewhere in my head I figure it could be worse; he is in NY not Baghdad.

This is the first time I have lived alone, and I must say it is sort of strange. It is awfully quiet...

you can talk to the plants, but when they start talking back, I'd start worrying.

I can relate. First time I was alone in the house after my my hubby went on deployment, I was so not used to the silent. Kept my TV, radio and various appliances running at all times.

Chin up Kat, just hold on the fact that it doesn't last forever, even though it seems that way.

What are you studying in school?

Smiley: lol Poor Neph, was it my phrase "Chin up, Kat" that did it for ya? Did you get pictures of us in thigh-high leather boots with whips and chains and I'm leading her around?

For a newlywed, you sure blue-balled.

I am not sure what is going on with my knee.

As far as school, I am at the moment going for my BA in History and
Political Science. Once that is complete I am going to law school.

It does seem like it is going to last forever from this end. But, if I could do a year in Baghdad, I can do this too. I know from experiance that the first 6 months are the worst part.
