Am I the only person that is getting fed up with WTF Comics? It's not even really an EQ comic anymore. Sure, they're all based on EQ classes, and the story takes place on Norrath, but the guy is seriously reaching for plot, and not catching anything.

Mechanical Meldrath? Warriors with "special powers" (i.e. magic)? Talk about dropping the ball. Not to mention the fact that the artwork has actually gotten worse over time. Does anybody still enjoy it?

The story has definatly gotten to far into bizzarness.

I still read it only to see where he plans on going with what he's done so far. But since it's updated only once a week I usually breeze through them once a month.

Eh, I think the story is just moving through a slow part at the moment, it shall get better again soon i think. Though I do agree that completly seperating it from Everquest was probably not a good idea, as it lost a little charm for me that way.

Go take the WTF character quiz though. It's spiffy.

I got bored with it a good while back. Probably a year or so ago. Think I only read through when they were in Stonebrunt Mts and that was it.

I stoped reading it a while back as well. I am still following The Noob. Which can be very hilarious.

i still enjoy it, but yes the art work from time to time has always been 2nd rate. problem with the story line is he has to be careful or Sony/SoE will shut him down. He has already made many posts about the issues with Sony/SoE he has had over the years. So it is not much of a supprise to see him add twists to the plot that are not true "Norrathian lore" to keep himself out of trouble with Sony/SoE.

as for the warrior with majic abilities, heck Scar has had those since what the 2nd or 3rd issue? So a very long time now he has had that, and with "Haxor" and his minions being special, i mean come on gnome monks...

It is things like that that keep it interesting for me, and keep him safe from Sony/SoE and legal actions.

I guess I'm in the minority. I really like the artwork and have been enjoying the story. But, it almost seems as if he is getting bored with it. It's gone from several comics a month to 2 or 3. I wouldn't be surprised to see him wrap it up soon and I will be dissapointed when it happens.

I still read it, mainly because I have it bookmarked.

For snarky fun, though, I rely on 8-Bit Theater. It's more like Penny Arcade, in that it relates to experiences and perceptions common to all gamers, and others for that matter.

I got tired of it a while ago, but still check it occasionally more out of boredom than anything else.

In his defense, he had a poll some time ago asking whether he should keep it EQ specific or generalize it more. Most of the readers said to generalize it, so I'm pretty sure that's why he did it that way.
