Just a brief note to say thanks for absolutely fu[/i]ck all.
As years go, I've had worse, but frankly, you were pretty sh[i]ite. Don't get me wrong, I don't have over-ambitious expectations. I know I won't see another Neil Armstrong filled 1969 or a stoned Wembley Live Aid 1984.
But frankly, I had hoped for a little more from you.
A bit more romance would have been nice. Sure, you handed Nobby a few smoochy candle-lit evenings and the odd roll in the hay. But if you cast your mind back 12 months, I did ask for Rachael Weisz
or an hour with Minnie Driver. So basically, you failed on that score.
So, in summary, I feel duty-bound to bid you good-bye, but it's by no means a fond adieu.
